GRS Management Solutions was registered in Trinidad and Tobago on July 31, 2020.  The company was birthed out of the need to provide online management solutions in Human Resources/Industrial Relations and Administration to small and medium-sized organisations.  The company aims to provide practical, current and efficient management solutions, with the view of empowering organisations to establish and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, thereby achieving their corporate goals and objectives.  Individuals who desire career advancement can also obtain coaching and mentoring services in their pursuit of becoming competent and emotionally intelligent supervisors, managers, and HR professionals.

Gillian Simon

Managing Director/Consultant

A dedicated professional with over twenty-three (23) years’ experience in Human Resource Management, Ms. Gillian Simon has operated in the Retail, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Maritime industries, as well as, the Public Sector in Trinidad and Tobago. Her skill set expanded to include Business Administration and Quality Management from 2007. She served as a member of the committee responsible for the implementation of Trinidad and Tobago Pilots’ Association’s Quality Management System and performed the role of Designated Person for nine years. Ms. Simon is a member of the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (HRMATT).

Appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Limited in 2009, Ms. Simon functioned in this position until the end of her tenure in 2010. During this time, she also served as Chairperson for the Board’s Human Resource Committee. She has served on six additional committees during her career and was appointed Chairperson of three of those committees.

Ms. Simon is a registered teacher with the Ministry of Education, as well as, a trained Lead Auditor (Quality). She has also undergone Mediation Skills Training and has considerable experience in conflict management.

Ms. Simon is the holder of a Master in Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with Government from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. She was awarded a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in August 2019 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law in March 2023. She was admitted to practise law as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Judicature of Trinidad and Tobago on June 14, 2024 and is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Ms. Simon grew up in Grande Riviere, Toco, in a home where she was exposed to community service at a tender age. Thus, to this day, she remains passionate about community service. She is a lifetime member of the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
